Two weeks ago we had a neighborhood egg hunt. Some of us who go to Newark Naz and live in our area simply placed several hundred eggs in a couple of yards.
We set up snacks , face painting, balloons, and of course - a visit from the Easter Bunny.
Each of us then invited the neighbors with kids who live near our houses to the hunt.
Around 30 kids showed up. After taking time for pictures and instructions, we set the kids loose.
It was fun. Several neighbors expressed an interest in finding more ways to get together. In fact, we are talking about doing something again this summer.
