We spent the past few days in Louisiana. We spent some time at the children's museum, and we enjoyed a couple of hours at the French Quarter.
We didn't have time to do much shopping at the French Market, but I can share a picture of what was there. :)
We had some great beignets and pralines. The store where we bought the pralines said they had the best pralines in New Orleans. I think I believe them. We took a walk by the Mississippi River.
We tried to go fishing the past two days, but the weather didn't help much. Brendon and I went out on a boat this morning with Brendon's great grandpa. We were only able to fish for about 30 minutes before the rain hit. We did catch three fish though.
