Off to School

Hard to believe but both kids are off to school this year.  Brendon started first grade.  Megan is in Kindergarten.

Lift Off

We didn't actually see the space shuttle this year.  Instead we stopped off at the Kennedy Space Center. This will probably be Brendon's highlight of our trip.  Brendon got to hold Jupiter at the kid's show.  Of course, it was too big to hold. I thought for sure it was going to roll away from him.

Megan loved the astronaut.  She kept running up to him to shake his hand and give him five.

Brendon and Megan took some time to pretend they were landing on the moon.

Brendon bought his own space shuttle and rockets, but he fell asleep playing with them.

Waving Goodbye

Here is a picture that you don't want to forget.  As I was leaving this morning, my kids both stood on the front porch waving bye.  It was one of those pictures that I wish would last simply because kids grow up way too fast. 

Megan finished up her last gymnastic class for the current session today too. Here she is being so graceful.
